Ingredients

• 1/2 cup shortening/butter mix
• 1 1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 cups flour (sifted)
• 2 teaspoon baking powder
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/3 cup pecans (chopped)
• 50 pecan halves (garnish)
