Hot Butternut Bake (Idwala) Recipe | Samsung Food App
My own creation when visiting friends at Nambiti Game Reserve in SA and had to throw something together with what we had on hand. It was a hit. A great dish to entertain friends. Full of flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 butternut, sliced or pieces
- 1/2 small punnet cherry tomatoes
- 1/2 packet sweet peppers (mixed or tricoloured)
- 3 rings feta cheese
- 8 French shallots, halved
- 4 cloves
- small handful of fresh coriander
- small handful of fresh mint
- 1 1/2 fresh chillies deseeded
- honey
- olive oil
- lite soya sauce
- juice of 1 orange
- himalayan salt
- black pepper
