Jim's Gourmet Oatmeal Raisin Cookies recipe - from the Five Generations of Cooking Family Cookbook

Ingredients

• 1/2 lb (2 sticks) of butter
• 1 cup of firmly packed light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1tsp. of pure vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 c. of all purpose flour
• 1 tsp. of baking soda
• 2 tsp. of freshly ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. of salt
• 3 cups of rolled oats
• 1 cup of California golden raisins
• 1 cup of chopped cashews
• 2 Tbsp. of Amaretto liqueur
