Ingredients

• 1 pound dates, chopped (optional)
• 1 1/4 cups flaked coconut
• 2 8oz containers, candied orange peel
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups pecans, chopped
• 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
• 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 4 large eggs
