Ingredients

• 4 avocados, peeled and halved
• 2 lemons, juiced
• 4 shallots or 3 red onions, finely chopped
• 1/2 tablespoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
• 1/4 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
• tortilla chips, to taste, for serving
