Ingredients

- 1/2 cup stick margarine or butter
- 1 cup flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 2 large egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 Tablespoons softened stick butter or margarine
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
