Easy Apple Coffee Cake Recipe

• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 1/3 cup canola or vegetable oil
• 1 egg
• 1 cup buttermilk (or mix 1 cup of milk + 1 tbsp white vinegar)
• 1 tsp vanilla essence
• 2 oz Zavida Apple Pie Coffee, brewed and cooled down
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 2 -1/2 cups flour
• 2 -1/2 cups (about 3-4 apples) Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced, mixed with the juice of half a lemon
