Ingredients: 5 or so Macintosh apples, peeled and chopped small to yield 5 cups; 1 1/2 cups sugar; 1 cup unsalted butter, melted; 2 large eggs, beaten; 3 cups all-purpose flour; 2 teaspoons baking soda; 1 teaspoon kosher salt; 1 teaspoon cinnamon (batter); 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg; 1/2 teaspoon allspice; 1 cup golden raisins; 1 cup chopped walnuts; 1 Tablespoon sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon (or double this for more topping!)
