Ingredients

  • 400 grams boneless chicken thighs (Can be replaced with chicken breasts, go to point 2 under my "tweaks and tips" to make the chicken tender.)
  • 1/2 large onion (I used a food processor to make it more efficient.)
  • 1 large minced garlic cloves
  • 1 small slice grated ginger (I used a food processor to make it more efficient.)
  • 3/8 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3-4 tbsp cornstarch for coating (More if needed)
  • 1/3 cup white sugar (My pineapple juice was 5% sweetened, so I used 1/4 cup white sugar instead. )
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tbsp canned pineapple juice (I used 227 grams. )
  • 3 tbsp ketchup (I used Heinz Ketchup)
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 4 tsp corn starch
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 minced garlic glove
  • 2 tsp finely chopped ginger (I used a food processor to make it more efficient.)
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (You can use any bell pepper color.)
  • 1 cup canned pineapple pieces (If you use 227 grams as well, you can use all pineapple pieces.)
