Lentil soup

Ingredients

• 1-1/2 c green or red lentils
• 10 c. water
• 1 onion
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 carrots
• 1 stalk celery
• 1 potato
• 1 tbs. salt
• 1 lemon juice and zest
• 1/2 c. chopped cilantro
• 2 tsp. cumin
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp. tumeric
• 1/2 tsp salt
