• 1/3 cup red wine
• 1 1/4 cup canned tomatoes (diced)
• 1 tsp dried oregano
• 1 pinch salt
• ground pepper to taste
• 1 cup peanut oil
• paper towels
• 1/3 cup butter, unsalted
• 1/3 cup white flour (all purpose)
• 2 cups milk, partly skimmed, 2%
• 1 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese
• 3 1/2 tbsp bread crumbs
