- Flour all-purpose unbleached 3 cups
- Butter Unsalted, cubed and chilled (2 sticks) 1 cup
- Granulated sugar ¾ cup
- Eggs large 2
- Vanilla extract 2 tsp
- Citrus zest (lime or lemon) 2 tsp
- Baking powder ½ tsp
- Salt Kosher ½ tsp
- Powdered sugar 4 cups
- Matcha Tea powder or to taste 4 tbsp
- Whole milk As needed to the desired consistency approx 1/3 C
- Corn Syrup Optional, but makes the icing glossy and luscious 2 tbsp
- Sanding sugar optional to taste
