• 2/3 cup milk or water
• 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 medium cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced (2 cups)
• 2 tablespoons chopped nuts
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 2 to 3 teaspoons milk
