Sri Lanka Recipes : Malini's Kitchen: Spagetti and Meat Sauce

Ingredients

• 500g lean ground beef
• 2 cloves garlic minced
• 1 large onion finely chopped
• 1 can whole tomatoes
• 3 tablespoons tomato paste
• 1/2 cup beef stock
• or
• 1 beef soup cube dissoved in 1/2 cup boiling water
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 2 tablespoons margarine
• Dash of ground black pepper
• Grated parmesan cheese
