Homemade Chinese Almond Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

• 1 cup (225 g) butter or margarine (8 oz)
• 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon (5 ml) real almond extract
• 2 1/2 cups (325 g) all purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon (5 ml) baking powder
• 1 tablespoon (15 ml) water
