Homemade Laundry Powder with Sweet Peppermint and Lavender Essential Oils | Aura Cacia

Ingredients

• 1 tsp. Aura Cacia Lavender Essential Oil
• 2 cups Washing Soda (Sodium Carbonate)
• 2 cups Borax (Sodium Borate)
• 1 Bar of Unscented Castile Soap
• 2 tsp Aura Cacia Sweet Peppermint Essential Oil
• Using a box grater, grate the Castile soap into medium-coarse crumbs.
• Mix grated soap with remaining ingredients until a damp powder forms.
• Use 2 tablespoons for a small load of laundry, 4 tablespoons for a medium load, and 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) for a large load.
• Store in an airtight glass or plastic container.
