Ingredients

• 5 eggs, lightly beaten
• 2 cups sugar
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon allspice
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1 cup raisins
• 1 cup walnuts
• 1-1/2 cups seedless blackberry jam
• 1-1/2 cups butter or margarine
• 1-1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 3 cups powdered sugar
