Ingredients

• 3 1/4 cups (810 ml) all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
• 3/4 tsp (4 ml) salt
• 1 1/3 cup (325 ml) butter softened
• 1 1/4 cup (310 ml) granulated sugar
• 1 cup (250 ml) firmly packed light brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 4 tsps (20 ml) pure vanilla extract (club house)
• 12 oz (340 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup (250 ml) chopped walnuts optional
