• 3/4 cup bourbon whiskey
• 375g unsalted butter, cut into cubes
• 1 ½ cups raisins
• 2 ½ cups (375g) brown sugar
• 2 ½ cups (375g) plain flour, sifted
• 2 ¼ tsp baking soda
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 3 large eggs, at room temp
• 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
