• 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/4 cup basil leaves, torn
• 1 cup pepperoni, chopped
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• Coarse salt, as needed
• 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces) or 1/2 cup of your favorite tomato sauce
