• 100 g celery stalks
• 30 g olive oil
• 6 slices smoked bacon
• 150 g red lentils
• 150 g split peas
• 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
• 800 g boiling water
• 1 chicken stock cube (for 0.5 l)
• 1 Tbsp tomato purée
• ½ tsp fine sea salt
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
