Custard Apple Tart ⋆Anne's Kitchen
A buttery shortcrust pastry topped with lots of apples snuggled in a vanilla custard. Not hard to make at all and the perfect autumn treat!
Ingredients
- 90g cold butter
- 170g flour
- 1 egg
- 30g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 apples
- juice of ½ lemon
- 100ml cream
- 50g sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp quince jelly, for brushing
