Chicken Bukhari Rice Recipe for a Flavoursome Taste

Ingredients

• 1 cup or 250 ml oil
• 2 cups jashn basmati rice (rinsed and drained well)
• 1 onion (sliced)
• 2 carrots (julienned)
• Black raisins
• 2 medium sized tomatoes (crushed)
• 1 whole chicken cut into pieces (salted & peppered)
• 1-2 tablespoon tomato paste
• 2 green chillies
• 3½ cups of water
• 1-2 tsp cumin (optional)
• Salt & pepper to taste
