Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
• 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 cups butter
• 1 ½ cups brown sugar
• 1 ½ cups white sugar
• 4 eggs ((room temperature))
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 cups walnuts ((chopped))
• 1 ½ pounds Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 4 cups rolled oats ((not quick oats))
