• 5 egg yolks- save whites
• 2 pounds of dates
• 1 1/2 pounds of walnuts
• 5 cups of flour
• 2 teaspoons of cinnamon
• 1 1/2 teaspoons cloves
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in 1 tablespoon of hot water
