- 1 cup (75g) panko breadcrumbs
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Vegetable oil, to deep-fry

- 1 tbs butter
- 1 tbs flour
- 3/4 cup (185ml) milk
- ½ tsp finely chopped chives
- Pinch of ground nutmeg
