Ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature, divided + 1 tablespoon
• ½ cup white granulated sugar
• ½ cup honey
• 2 eggs
• ¼ cup brown ale
• 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract + 1 tsp
• ⅓ cup cocoa powder
• ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp fine sea salt
• ¼ tsp baking powder
• ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 Tbsp heavy cream
• 1 package (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
• coarse white sea salt for garnish
