• 6 Ounce cream cheese, softened
• 3 Tablespoon brown sugar, firmly packed
• 2 Tablespoon butter, softened
• 1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 Pinch ground nutmeg
• 1/4 Cup walnuts, chopped
• 6 Large baking apples, such as Granny Smith: peeled, cored and finely diced
