Broccoli, bacon and cheddar pie - Chef Louis Nel

Ingredients

• 300 g broccoli florets
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 pinch chili flakes (optional)
• 1/2 onion (chopped fine)
• 150 g smokey bacon (cut into cubes)
• 25 g butter
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 25 g all purpose flour
• 200 ml cream
• 100 ml chicken stock
• 2 egg yolks
• 50 g mature cheddar
• 1 roll puff pastry (400g)
• 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
