Grapefruit Vodka Fizz | RICARDO

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
• 1/2 cup (105 g) sugar
• 2 tbsp (30 ml) fresh ginger, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp allspice seeds, crushed
• 1 lime wedge
• 1/2 grapefruit, peel and pith removed
• 2 oz (60 ml) vodka
• 1 oz (30 ml) ginger syrup
• 1/2 oz (15 ml) lime juice
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) ice cubes
• 2 oz (60 ml) cold soda water
• 1 long grapefruit zest, removed with a peeler, for garnishing
