Ingredients

• 1 pound butter
• 8 ounces sugar
• 9 ounces walnut puree* (see Cook's Note)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 pound white chocolate
• 7 whole eggs
• 3 egg yolks
• Strawberries, recipe follows
• 1 pint strawberries
• 1/2 cup simple syrup, equal parts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves
• 1/2 cup water
• Salt, to taste
• Lemon juice, to taste
