• 1 cup onions, diced

• 1 cup tomato purée
• 1 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 2 tbsp hot sauce
• 2 tbsp agave
• 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
• sea salt, to taste
• black pepper, to taste
• water, as needed
• 4 to 6 hard taco shells
• shredded lettuce
