• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter OR margarine

• 3 egg whites OR pasteurized egg whites at room temperature
• 1 box ( ounces) powdered sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
• Assorted can dy for decorations such as small colored
