Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cups (218 g) all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar, for rolling
• 1/2 cup (113 g) salted butter, room temperature
• 1 large egg, room temperature
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional, but not really)
