• 1/2 cup lard and 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 tablespoons water
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 cup chocolate chips
