Ingredients

• 1 cup (250 mL) butter, softened
• 1 cup (250 mL) sugar
• 1 cup (250 mL) brown sugar, packed
• 2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups (750 mL) all – purpose flour
• 1 tsp (5 mL) baking soda
• ½ tsp (2 mL) baking powder
• ½ tsp (2 mL) salt
• 1 cup (250 mL) chocolate chips
• 1 cup (250 mL) salted caramel chips – or use 2 cups (500 mL) chocolate chips
