Ingredients
- 1 lb okra, without stem or tip
- 2 cups rice, long or medium grain
- 3 cups water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander or cilantro
- 1 teaspoon of coriander and achiote seasoning
- 1/2 cup ham
- Salt and pepper to taste
