Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Banana Pops - Sprinkles & Sea Salt
Celebrate back-to-school with these Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Banana Pops! So easy to make the kids will love helping out in the kitchen!
Ingredients
- Prep a baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper
- Peel the bananas and slice of the ends, cut each banana in half
- Using a butter knife and holding the banana by the ends, coat the outside with a thick coating of peanut butter
- Lay the peanut butter covered bananas on the parchment paper on the baking sheet, make sure they are not touching
- Insert a popsicle stick halfway into each banana
- Put in freezer for at least 1 hour
- Before taking the bananas out of the freezer, melt the chocolate and coconut oil together*
- Once frozen, remove bananas from freezer, dip each peanut butter banana pop into the chocolate, use a spoon to help coat completely
- Sprinkle with toppings, return to baking sheet
- Freeze for at least 1 more hour
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks
