• 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 2 eggs white (or use 2 tablespoons of meringue powder)
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 3 1/2 – 4 cups powdered sugar
• water
