Vanilla cardamom cupcakes

Ingredients

• ½ c. butter, at room temperature
• 2/3 c. sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
• 1 ½ c. all-purpose flour
• 1 ½ tsp. baking powder
• ½ to ¾ tsp. ground cardamom (start with 10 to 12 green pods, toast and grind it yourself for best flavor)
• ¼ tsp. salt
• ½ c. milk (I used 2%
