Bread Bowl Broccoli Cheddar Soup - Tropical Cheese

Ingredients

• 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 cup of onion, finely diced
• 2 cups of carrots (3 medium) - thin sliced
• 4 cups of low-sodium chicken broth
• 4 cups of broccoli (2 heads of broccoli), cut into small florets
• 1 tsp of garlic powder
• 1 tsp of sea salt, or to taste
• ½ tsp of black pepper
• ¼ tsp of thyme
• 1 cup of Tropical Crema Centroamericana
• 2 cups of shredded Tropical Sharp Cheddar Cheese (16 oz.), and more to serve
• Medium sourdough round loaves to serve
