Ingredients

• 5 whole cinnamon sticks (or 3-4 teaspoons ground cinnamon)
• 10 whole cardamom pods, crushed (or 2 teaspoons ground cardamom)
• 10 whole cloves (or ½-1 teaspoon ground cloves)
• 2 whole bay leaves
• 1 whole orange, zested and juiced
• 1 to 2 cups water
• 1 bottle 24-ounce bourbon
• dried orange slices
