• 1 3-pound whole chicken cut in 8 pieces
• vegetable oil
• 2 cups flour
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1 teaspoon onion
• 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
• 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
• 2 Eggs beaten with 2 tablespoons water
