Granny's Ham & Bean Soup | Recipe Saver

Ingredients

• 1 (20-ounce) package Hurst's HamBeens® 15 Bean Soup®, plus the seasoning packet
• 8 cups low-sodium chicken broth or water
• 1 ham hock, can substitute leftover ham bone with meat still attached
• 1 onion, diced
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes
• 1 lemon, juiced
• fresh herbs, optional, of your choice, to taste, for garnish
