Beef Hamburgers with Aged Cheddar - Canada's Food Island

Ingredients

• 1 lb PEI lean or medium ground beef
• 1 tbsp steak spice
• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 4 burger buns
• 1 head Bibb lettuce
• 1 beefsteak tomato, sliced
• 4 slices aged cheddar cheese
• grainy mustard spread, see recipe below
• 2 tbsp Dijon or prepared yellow mustard
• 2 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tbsp grainy mustard
• 1 tbsp honey
• 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
• salt, to taste
• ground pepper, to taste
