Ingredients

• 12 slices pre-cooked bacon
• 2 pounds ground chuck
• 1/3 cup chopped Maui onion or other sweet onion
• 1/3 cup minced ripe papaya
• 1 teaspoon Asian chili garlic sauce
• 1 tablespoon Asian style spiced sea salt
• 1/4 cup onion and garlic-flavored macadamia nuts
• 2 small, ripe Hass avocados, pitted, peeled, and chopped
• 1/4 cup diced daikon radish
• 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
• 2 tablespoons minced ginger
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 teaspoons seasoned rice vinegar
• 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
• 2 teaspoons Asian chili garlic sauce
• 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
• 6 seeded hamburger buns or sandwich rolls, split
• 4 cups chopped watercress leaves
• 12 thin slices vine-ripened tomatoes
