• 3/4 C. Crisco® Butter Flavor All-Vegetable Shortening
• 1 1/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
• 2 Tbsps. milk
• 1 Tbsp. Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1 egg
• 2 C. all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp. salt
• 3/4 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
• 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
• 1 C. coarsely chopped pecans
• * If nuts are omitted, add an additional 1/2 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
