Ingredients

• 1/2 stick of butter or margarine
• 2/3 cup minced green onions
• 1 cup chopped mushrooms
• 1 cup uncooked rice, Uncle Ben's preferred
• 14 ounce can chicken broth
• 1 ounce package Ranch Dressing mix
• 1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds
• 1/4 cup finely shredded carrot, optional
