Country Cabbage Roll Soup - Country Produce

Ingredients

• 2 tsp. olive oil
• 1Lb AAA Lean Ground Beef
• 1 onion diced
• 2 cloves of garlic minced
• 4 cups of coarsely chopped Ontario Green Cabbage
• 2 carrots peeled
• 4 cups of beef broth
• 16oz of tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup of uncooked long grain rice
• 1 bay leaf
• 3 tbsp. of brown sugar
• 2 tbsp. of fresh parsley
• salt & pepper to taste
