Dooky Chase Eggnog Recipe

Ingredients

• 6 large eggs (separated, yolks and whites in different bowls)
• ¾ cup granulated sugar (divided into two portions)
• 2 cups whole milk
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup bourbon (or a dark rum for variation)
• ½ cup brandy
• 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg (plus more for garnish)
• A pinch of salt
